Rogoway Turquoise Tortoise Gallery and Tubac Territory would like to invite you to participate in this year’s annual “Cowboy Christmas in Tubac” event.
On November 19, 2016, we are sponsoring a Quick Draw event to benefit Tubac Center of the Arts Hi-Art program. The Hi-Art program is designed to encourage and support area high school students interested in exploring fine art. All proceeds will be donated to the Tubac Center of the Arts, an IRS designated 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.
How the Quick Draw will work
This fast-paced event is a 90-minute, timed painting event by 15 to 20 artists. Each artist will create a piece of art in front of the public in a restricted area, beginning with a completely clean canvas. The pieces will then be auctioned off at approximately 3:00 PM. Each piece will go to the highest bidder with opening bids at $100. We are pleased to announce that Gary Corbett will participate as our Celebrity Auctioneer and Emcee of the event.
To participate in this event, please submit this form by October 15, 2016. Artists will be responsible for supplying their own easel and paints. Artist may use the provided 11 x 14 canvas or bring their own of any size. Framing and hanging hardware are NOT required.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to overwhelming Artist response to the Quick Draw, it may become necessary to limit the number of Artists participating.
If you would like further information, please contact Debbie Barrios at (520)398-2041 or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
